Attorney review pending. These terms are published as the operating terms of the service. Provisions marked ⚖ are placeholder elections to be confirmed or replaced by counsel before material commercial volume. Your continued use of the API constitutes acceptance.

1. What AYE provides

AYE maintains a media-consistency API that checks submitted assertions against attributed public records and physics. It accepts a media SHA-256 digest, not raw media or media URLs, and does not authenticate media. Five older factual check routes remain available for existing compatibility integrations. Results are data opinions derived from named sources at a moment in time, not certifications, insurance determinations, or professional advice.

The separate US roofing/solar field-work decision prototype is private and not a live service. Historical calibration and buyer-value validation remain pending; activity on the maintained API does not validate that prototype.

2. No reliance

You agree not to rely on verdicts for safety-of-life, medical, legal, financial, aviation, maritime, or emergency-management decisions. Verdicts about weather, seismicity, air quality, and alerts describe recorded or computed conditions; they never guarantee present or future conditions.

3. Payment terms (x402)

The maintained public /v1/verify/media-consistency route currently quotes $10 USDC per call on Base using x402. The five older check routes currently quote $0.01 USDC for existing compatibility integrations. Consult the live public route catalog and signed policy, and verify the exact route's live HTTP 402 payment requirements before authorizing payment.
Settlement is attempted only after a successful result is prepared. This does not prove that an HTTP 200 response reached you. Source or input failures before settlement are not submitted for settlement.
AYE operates principal-to-principal payment rails and never holds customer balances.
An ambiguous settlement may already have moved funds. Preserve the response and payment receipt or reference, and reconcile the outcome before authorizing another payment. A missing response is not evidence that no payment occurred.

4. Remedy for wrong verdicts

For a disputed result or payment, contact ops@aye.today with the response and payment receipt or reference for review. Never send private keys or signed payment authorizations. No automated recount or free-dispute endpoint is currently available. Re-submitting a claim is not a free dispute and may require another payment; do not pay again to request a review.

This factual correction does not limit pre-existing customer remedies or statutory rights.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use AYE to target, surveil, or profile individual people. Requests referencing identifiable persons are refused by design.
Do not redistribute source data whose licenses restrict it (see Sources & Attribution).
Rate limits apply per identity; circumvention may result in refusal of service.
No scraping of AYE surfaces in excess of published limits; the free detector endpoint exists for integration testing, not bulk harvesting.

6. Disclaimers and liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AYE'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR VERDICTS IN THE THIRTY (30) DAYS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. ⚖

7. Disputes; governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. ⚖ [Arbitration and class-waiver election reserved — to be adopted only upon counsel's advice.]

8. Contracting entity

9. Changes

We will publish changes on this page with a new effective date. Material changes to payment terms will also be reflected in the signed policy manifest.
